In 2022, the Kvitfjell World Cup organizer introduced the business conference Russispranget as a unique platform during the FIS Ski World Cup in Kvitfjell. In 2023, it was expanded to two impressive conference days in collaboration with Visit Lillehammer and the 13-year-old tourism conference Snowball, with a focus on sustainability.
In 2024, with support from strong partners such as NHO Reiseliv, Innovasjon Norge, Innlandet County Council, DNB, and KPMG, the organizers, Visit Lillehammer and Hafjell-Kvitfjell Alpin AS, plan to merge the conferences into The National Winter Conference. This inspiring two-day event promotes collaboration between sports, tourism, and business to create business opportunities. The program for 2024 will be announced in the fall of 2023.
